Shop for your gown in January or June. Most wedding gown shops have huge sales in January and June with remarkable discounts.

If you try a dress on and fall in love with it, ask if you can buy the sample. The dress will be fully cleaned and you can easily save 30%.

Alternatively, ask the boutique if they have a section where they sell samples.
